The Malayan Nature Journal Conference


The Publication Committee of the Malaysian Nature Society is pleased to announce the Malayan Nature Journal Conference 2018 which be held at the Royal Chulan , Seremban on 22nd September 2018. The theme of this conference is “MNJ- strengthening its role in Malaysian Conservation since 1940” where we bring together several conservation pioneers to share their insights and experiences about their roles and contributions in the seventy illustrious years of publishing the Malayan Nature Journal.The conference is aimed at the international and local scientific community and academicians, with the goal of fostering and facilitating communication and collaboration between the various stakeholders in Malaysian Conservation.

We would like to cordially invite you to attend this conference to be a part of the Malaysian Nature Society’s effort to promote the conservation of our natural heritage.

Who Should Attend?
The MNJ Conference is aimed at the international and local scientific community and academicians, with the goal of fostering and facilitating communication and collaboration between the various stakeholders in Malaysian Conservation. The conference is open to

  • Undergraduate and Post-graduate Students
  • Lecturers
  • Researchers in Conservation / Biodiversity/ Ecology or any nature and wildlife related fields
  • NGO Representatives
  • MNS Members
  • Any individuals who are interested to learn about the history of Malaysian Conservation

  1.  Fill up the conference registration form below.
  2. Make payment according to selected conference package
  3. Email form and proof of payment to emediait@mns.org.my

  • Activity (A): Nature Walk at Sg Menyala ; (B): Stargazing; (C) Bird-Watching and Macro Photography trip to Gunung Telapak Buruk, (D) Night Walk
  • Package 1/2/3 : Accommodation is priced on twin sharing basis.
  • Transportation for activities: carpool
  • 5% discount for children (5-12 years old), share room with parents
  • The organizer reserves the right to change the price and program based on the number of participants
