Come join the MNS Nature Guides for a fun and educational visit to an organic farm.
We will visit GK Organic Farm, located near Bangi (on the Bangi-Dengkil Road), 40km south of Kuala Lumpur. GK Organic Farm was founded in 1994, and has been growing organic vegetables and fruits, using homemade compost and fertilizers ever since.
We will go on a guided farm tour on barefoot (earth grounding is good for us, no?) We will learn about organic farming and the environment as well as watching a demo on enzyme making and tasting. We will feast on a scrumptious and wholesome organic vegetarian buffet lunch!
Bring your shopping bags and cash to buy a variety of fresh newly harvested organic vegetables on site.
Below is the suggested itinerary:
Time : 9.00am meet-up
Meeting point : Petronas Petrol Station/Starbucks on E2 North-South Highway southbound (BEFORE the UPM/Serdang exit)
10.00am: Arrival at GK Organic Farm
10.10am: Briefing on GK History & Concept (including Vegetable order)
10.30am: Guided Farm Tour (Barefooted)
11.20am: Organic Cold Drink
Enzyme making demo & Tasting
Talk on Organic and environment
12.15pm: Organic Buffet Lunch
1.30pm: Bye bye
Participation fees :
Adult : RM80/pax
Children : RM50/child (below 12 years old)
FREE for children below 3 years old
