In conjunction with World Environment Day, MNS celebrated the soft launch of its 85th anniversary, together with MNS stalwarts, academicians, government, NGOs, and partners. During this monumental year, we shall be revisiting the State of Nature Conservation, published in 1991, and release its successor, the State of Nature Conservation in Malaysia 2025. This upcoming publication will be headed by esteemed conservationists and academicians, authored by environmental practitioners working on the diverse aspects of flora, fauna, Indigenous Peoples, and Anthropocene, and assisted by the MNS Secretariat. This will culminate in a closed-door symposium in late November 2025, followed by the publication of the State of Nature Conservation in Malaysia 2025 in 2026.
