The Malayan Tapir Regional Workshop 2025 is an initiative of the Technical Working Group under the Malayan Tapir Conservation Action Plan. It is organized by Universiti Putra Malaysia in collaboration with the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN), Copenhagen Zoo, and the Malaysian Nature Society.
The workshop is organized as a platform to share perspectives on conservation initiatives in the region, to build and strengthen the Malayan Tapir conservation network among stakeholders, and to identify and prioritize Malayan Tapir conservation initiatives.
Interested individuals may register to attend the workshop, which will be held in Terengganu from 17–19 September 2025.
