Congratulations to the 2017 Young Environmental Research Grant Recipients and thank you to all who participated!

The Young Environmental Research Grant (YERG) is an initiative by the Malaysian Nature Society to inoculate a sense of appreciation and conservation of Malaysia’s natural heritage through science and research. The project aims to support research initiatives and projects undertaken by Malaysian University students which promote conservation.

Call for applications for the second phase of the grant was YERG Phase 2 opened for application in December 2017 and we received 50 applications from students all over Malaysia. After a few screening processes, top 10 applicants have been selected to receive a grant worth RM10, 000 for their research.

Congratulations to the recipients of these grants, we hope the funds support you in the outstanding work you do to conserve our Malaysian Natural Heritage.
