NEC Adventure Camp is back!!
Good news everyone! FRIM-MNS Nature Education Centre (NEC) will be organizing a very interesting camp for the kids with the theme ‘Young Ecologist’. The camp focuses on the study of our beautiful rainforest and observing variety of flora and fauna in the jungle. The camp offer hands-on activities, visit to Petrosains, learn about 3R’s recycling, insect catching, nature walk and other fun and educational experiences. This camp will begin to introduce the campers to the amazing complexity of our native Acadian forests.
We seek to foster an appreciation for and love of nature by inviting the campers to explore the world around them through hands-on, outdoor, experiential learning. In doing so we hope to inspire the young people of today to become environmentally responsible and conscientious citizens of tomorrow, to spark a lifelong love of learning, and to forge a deep and abiding connection with the natural world.
We are now open for enrollment and welcome young adventurers aged between 8 to 14 years of age.
Date : 24 November 2017 – 26 November 2017 (Friday to Sunday)
Time : 4.00 pm (Registration at NEC)

Age : 8 – 15 years old
Fee : RM 280 per child for MNS members/KPA members
RM 320 per child for Non-MNS member
