Festival of Wings: Virtual Talk (16th October 2021)
We’re pleased to bring you the Festival of Wings: Virtual Talk session for 2021, themed “Sing, Fly, Soar – Like A Bird!“, during the celebration of Festival of Wings (Pesta Sayap) in conjunction with World Migratory Bird Day.
Located at Kuala Selangor Nature Park, Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) with the support of the Kuala Selangor City Council (MPKS) and Selangor State Government will be bringing together urban and rural communities who are passionately conserving and managing the biodiversity at Kuala Selangor which includes the migratory and resident birds that flock around Kuala Selangor during the migration season, the world famous synchronous fireflies and the beautiful mangrove forests. This talk to share ideas and experiences for publics in migratory bird awareness and conservation. As we were in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration of Pesta Sayap in line with MNS as the MPKS brought a new level of awareness and appreciation of birds and the importance of nature for our own well-being.
The session will be moderated by the Program Officer of Kuala Selangor Nature Park, Mr. Ashokumar Rajadurai.
