Raptor Watch 2023 is flying back to the shores of Tanjung Tuan! It will be held from the 11th to the 12th of March 2023 (Saturday & Sunday) at Tanjung Tuan Forest Reserve. Malaysian Nature Society has thrilled many thousands of the public, educated many hundreds of school children in understanding nature, and captivated the imagination of many bird watchers.
Due to tremendous support, this year’s Raptor Watch will be held for two days as well. Activities including guided walks, arts & crafts, and games will be featured, and at the same time don’t forget to visit the main stars of the event – our majestic raptors who will be circling around the iconic Cape Rachado lighthouse at the top of the hill! What started as a few enthusiasts getting together – has now become the largest environmental event in Malaysia.
MANGROVE TREE PLANTING PROGRAM AT PANTAI CERMIN IN CONJUNCTION WITH RW 2023
We are inviting all members and the public to join us for the mangrove tree planting programs. Held at the Pantai Cermin, Tanjung Tuan. It will run from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. on the 11th and 12th of March 2023. No charge will be imposed to participate in the program.

BEACH CLEAN UP PROGRAM
To celebrate the raptors, we are planning to have a fun day in the sun and sand. Join us for the Beach Clean Up program at Pantai Cermin, Tanjung Tuan on the 11th of March 2023 (Saturday), from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Volunteers Needed!
We are looking for 25 – 30 volunteers to help us on the event days. We highly encourage volunteers to arrange their own transportation to Tanjung Tuan, Melaka. No accommodation or allowance, but meals and certificates for volunteers will be provided. We need more help on the first day, the 11th of March 2023.
